Home Privacy
Privacy policy.
Short version: we use what you send us to take care of your truck, and we don't sell it to anybody.
What we collect
When you call, email, or fill out a form on this site, we get what you give us: your name, phone, email, company, and details about your vehicle and the work you need. We use it to answer you, schedule the work, and keep your service history.
Site visits
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how people find and use this site: how many visits we get, which pages get looked at, what site sent you here, whether you're on a phone or a computer, and roughly what part of the country you're in. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't follow you to other websites, and gives us totals only, not who you are. Cloudflare's handling of this is covered by the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
VIN lookup
On our online forms (the service intake form and the fleet account form), if you tap "Look up VIN", the VIN you entered is sent to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's free VIN decoder to fill in the year, make, model and engine. Only the VIN is sent, nothing else about you.
USDOT number lookup
On the fleet service request, if you enter your USDOT number, it's looked up in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's public carrier records (published on data.transportation.gov) to fill in your company details. If you haven't entered a DOT number, your business name and phone number are used to search those same public records, so we can suggest matching carriers for you to pick from. Nothing else is sent.
Remember me on this phone
When you send, save or email the intake form, you can choose to have your phone remember your name, contact details, address and the vehicle you entered, so it's filled in next time. This is kept only in your phone's browser storage. It is never sent to us and we don't keep it on our website. "Forget me on this phone" at the top of the form deletes it, and so does clearing your browser's site data.
Address suggestions
As you type a street address on our online forms, what you've typed is sent to Google (Google Maps Platform) to suggest matching addresses, and the address you pick is looked up to fill in the city, state and ZIP. Nothing else from the form is sent with it. On both forms, a business can also look itself up by name: what you type in that search box goes to Google to find your listing, and the listing you pick fills in your business name, address and phone (and website, on the fleet service request). These lookups pass through our own server on the way to Google, which doesn't keep them. Google's handling of this is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
Sending a form from this site
When you send a form, the completed form (as a PDF) and the contact information on it are transmitted through our service provider, Cloudflare, and delivered to our shop's email. Forms are not stored on the website.
To prevent spam and abuse, sends are verified with Cloudflare Turnstile, and we retain limited, non-identifying technical data (a one-way hash of the sender's IP address and of the form contents) for up to 48 hours to enforce sending limits. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Security and hosting
This site is delivered and protected by Cloudflare, which processes standard connection data, such as IP address and browser type, to provide security and performance.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your information. We share it only when it's needed to get your work done, like with our shop software or a parts supplier, or when the law requires it.
